About Procyon Engineering:

Procyon Engineering specializes in product development and consulting on embedded systems hardware, software, and related technologies. We currently work with a wide range of companies, from small start-ups to large institutions, providing hardware and software design and development. Core specialties include microcontroller-based design, industrial and commercial robotics, sensing and signal processing, high-performance RF systems, medical electronics, and embedded software architecture and design.

Procyon Engineering also sells products designed in-house targeted towards research and development, rapid prototyping, robotics, and education. Hardware products include development boards for popular microcontrollers and accessory boards for interfacing, driving, and sensing. Software products consist of support libraries, drivers, example code, and demonstration software.

Procyon Engineering was founded in 2001 and is based in San Jose, CA.

Ordering and Payment:
An order is placed when complete order details and payment or payment authorization have been received. Orders for standard in-stock products can typically be be filled in 2-5 business days, unless otherwise noted. Orders for special or customized products may require additional lead time and cannot be cancelled once the order is placed. A deposit payment may be required for customized products or work (e.g. 50% upon ordering, 50% upon shipment). Orders placed by credit card are charged upon order shipment. Orders placed via Quote/PO are invoiced upon completion/shipment. Procyon Engineering standard terms are Net30. Procyon Engineering reserves the right to cancel an order (with full refund) for business reasons, such as if the order cannot be fulfilled in a reasonable timeframe. For exceptional circumstances, Procyon Engineering will work with the customer to find a mutually-acceptable resolution.

Returns and Refunds:
Software or services already delivered and accepted are non-returnable and non-refundable. Hardware products that are shown to be defective due to failure in materials or manufacture are eligible for repair or replacement, at our descretion and expense. We may ask the customer to assist us in determining the cause of the failure prior to return shipment. Products damaged by accident or misuse may be accepted by Procyon for repair for a fee + return shipping. All products shipped back to Procyon must first receive a Return Material Authorization (RMA) by contacting sales. The customer is responsible for return shipping. In the unlikely event that a product cannot be repaired or replaced, a refund may be offered.

Contracts:
For products and services rendered under contract, the contract terms may supercede these terms.

Corporate/Institution/Education orders:

Please e-mail sales@procyonengineering.com for a formal quote and lead time. Some orders can be filled immediately from available stock, most others can be filled within 5-15 working days.
Payment options: PO or company check, NET30 billing, on-line by credit card.

Personal/Hobbyist orders:

If we can fill your order from available stock, you will be forwarded to our on-line shop to place your order.
